Free Apartment Lease Agreement
What You Should Know Before Using Our Apartment Lease Forms
While a lease agreement does enforce the rules of a lease, your local landlord tenant law is still in charge. If a lease term goes against the landlord tenant law, that particular term will be struck off. even if your apartment lease agreement is already signed and sealed.
Let’s say that you have an apartment lease agreement form asking for security deposit equal to 2 month’s rent – BUT if your area’s laws only allow landlords to collect a maximum of 1 month’s rent as deposit, then 1 month’s rent is the most you will get. even if the tenant has already signed the lease agreement.
Wading through your landlord tenant law text is no walk in the park but it’s a necessary chore.
Our free apartment lease agreement is targeted at people who are renting apartments, condos or flats – If you are renting other types of residential properties, Click here for our free Residential Lease Agreement instead.
